Exciting News from the IFES World Congress in Guadalajara!

We are thrilled to share a special behind-the-scenes look at how we created a unique award for the speakers at the Global IFES Congress currently taking place in Guadalajara, Jalisco. To highlight the strategic importance of recycling and the value of secondary raw materials, we decided to craft an object that embodies sustainability and innovation.

Inspired by the agave plant—an ancient, versatile symbol of Jalisco used in textiles and tequila production—we designed a one-of-a-kind piece made from materials derived from the circular economy. The award’s base is a carpet representing both the land where agave grows and the exhibition floor where our industry thrives—a beautiful fusion of nature and progress.

The transformation process, involving heat and fire, symbolizes tequila production, where waste is turned into a meaningful black sculpture. This piece reflects our commitment to environmental sustainability, with elements of light, fire, and black alternating to convey our vision of building a better, greener future.

We’re proud to showcase this innovative award as a testament to our dedication to sustainability and the future of our industry. Together, we’re shaping a better tomorrow!
