The synthetic grass is a draining product that allows the transit
of the water in transversal way towards the soil that absorbs it.
On preexisting floors, as cement, asphalt, terraces, solarium, etc...
the draining effect is given only by the inclination of the floor.
- verify if there is enough inclination to avoid the stagnation of the
water on the floor covering
- choose among a temporary laying (without glue) or a permanent
laying.

The temporary/free laying
allows to safeguard the floor below,
to roll up the grass and to reuse it in case of need: use biadhesive
tapes and stabilize the edges putting on the corners and on the
joints heavy objects (pots, furniture,...). This laying feel the effect
of climatic mutations which can change the dimensional stability.

Make a permanent/fixed laying
when you don’t need to
safeguard the floor below but you need a definitive result.
In this case use an external bicomponent glue like Ultrabond Turf
Mapei.

Roll out the first strip of synthetic grass, line up it and mark
where the other strips have to be layed.

Determine the length of the strips for the cut.
C
Roll out in the right way the second strip next to the first one
and determine the position of the others.

Cut in superimposition the edge with the knife
(ALWAYS CUT ON REVERSE)

Prepare the joint of the synthetic grass with the tapes
and the glue. The width of the joints should be maximum 4 mm
(picture 2).

Open longitudinally the edges of the 2 strips: in this gap of
60-75 cm max, lay down the tape in line with the joint
(picture 3)
.

Now the first two strips are ready for the junction. Smear the
glue on the tape with a glue knife, with a toothing of 3 mm and a
length of 10-15 cm.

Press the edges of the synthetic grass on the glue and check
that the backing perfectly sticks on the tape. After few minutes
press again the joints for a further guarantee of resistance. Repeat
the operations (from C to H) up to the end of the installation.
When the synthetic grass has been layed completely, check the
joints once again and add adhesive if necessary.
Trim the synthetic grass in the measure or shape desired and clean
the residues.

L’erba sintetica è un prodotto drenante che permette il passaggio
dell’acqua in modo trasversale verso il terreno che la assorbe.
Su pavimenti preesistenti, come cemento, asfalto, terrazze,
solarium, ecc., l’effetto drenante è dato unicamente dalla
pendenza del pavimento.
- verificare se esiste questa pendenza tanto da evitare il ristagno
dell’acqua sulla moquette
- scegliere tra una posa temporanea (senza uso di collanti) o una
posa permanente.

La posa temporanea o libera
permette di salvaguardare il
pavimento sottostante, di riarrotolare l’erba e riutilizzarla poi
all’occorrenza; si usano nastri biadesivi e si stabilizzano i teli
ponendo su angoli e giunte oggetti pesanti (vasi, mobili etc.).
Questa posa risente naturalmente delle mutazioni climatiche che
ne possono variare la stabilità dimensionale.

La posa permanente o fissa
viene effettuata quando non si deve
salvaguardare il pavimento sottostante e si vuole un risultato
definitivo. In questo caso si utilizza una colla bicomponente per
esterni tipo Ultrabond Turf della Mapei.

Srotolare il primo telo di erba sintetica, allinearlo e segnare dove
gli altri teli devono essere posati.
B
Determinate la lunghezza del telo per il taglio.
C
Srotolate nello stesso senso il secondo telo vicino al primo e
determinate la posizione in sequenza degli altri.
D
Tagliare in sovrapposizione la fuga del telo con il cutter
(TAGLIARE SEMPRE AL ROVESCIO)
.

Preparate la giunta dei teli dell’erba sintetica con il nastro di
giuntura e la colla. La fuga tra una giunta e l’altra non può essere
più di 4 mm.

Aprire longitudinalmente i bordi dei 2 teli in modo che si crei
un’apertura di 60-75 cm, nella quale stendere il nastro di giuntura
perfettamente in linea con la giunta
(figura 3)
.

Ora i primi due teli sono pronti per la giunzione. Spalmare la
colla sul nastro di giuntura in tutta lunghezza, in modo uniforme e
con una spatola che abbia una dentatura di 3mm per una
lunghezza di 10-15 cm.

Premere i due bordi dei teli di erba sintetica sulla colla e
controllare che il fondo aderisca perfettamente sul nastro digiun-
tura. A breve distanza di tempo premere di nuovo sulla giunta per
una ulteriore garanzia di tenuta. Ripetere le operazioni dalla C alla
H fino al termine dell’installazione. Quando l’erba sintetica è stata
posata completamente, controllate le giunte ancora una volta ag-
giungendo adesivo dove necessario. Tagliate i contorni eccedenti di
erba sintetica nella misura o forma desiderata e aspirare i residui.

Per l’installazione di

nei parchi e sui campi da
gioco si raccomanda di fissare al suolo i bordi dell’erba sintetica
con listelli di legno
